Our entry-level model in the field of VHF marine radios is the IC-M330GE.
The compact IC-M330E/GE measures only 156.5 (W) × 66.5 (H) × 110.1 (D) mm making it ideal for a cockpit where space is limited.
Installation can be carried out by means of the provided U-shaped mounting bracket (base / substructure) or with the optional mounting kit MBF-5 (for installation in an instrument panel; see above).
A combination of the directional keypad and soft keys provides simple, smooth operation. Most used functions are assigned to soft keys for quick one push function access.
The IC-M330E/GE’s receiver provides reliable communication in RF busy environment like a marina. (Selectivity and IMD: more than 70 dB)
The radio monitors CH 70 continuously, even while you are receiving another channel. DSC functions include: distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling request and DSC test calls
A built-in GPS receiver provides your location, bearing and speed by using information from GPS, GLONASS and SBAS. The acquired position information can be used for DSC calls.
When the IC-M330GE is connected to the optional MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder, the AIS Destination Call feature allows you to make an individual DSC call from the MA-500TR without manual MMSI number on the transceiver to capture.
The Favorites channel feature allows you to efficiently scan and fast channel selection. Add the desired channel (★ mark) to the preferred channels. The normal and priority scans search for active channels within the preferred channels. Use the UP / DOWN buttons on the microphone to toggle between preferred channels while skipping unmarked channels.
All Icom products are tested to pass rigorous in-house tests as well as environmental tests at the Wakayama Icom plant before shipping. Our world-leading products and quality is tradition.

Active Noise Cancelling Technology and Built-in GPS for Simple Installation
Incorporating Icom’s common Marine Family User Interface designed for simple, intuitive operation. A rotary selector and directional keypad provide quick and easy access to the intended functions. The high contrast white backlit LCD and laser-cut keypad match well with modern boat designs.
The built-in active noise cancelling provides superb performance. It reduces background noise up to 90% in the received signal and 30% in the transmits signal.
The IC-M423GE has a built-in 10 W amplifier that increases the audio output to an external PA speaker. The public address function allows you to make an announcement from the microphone like a loud speaker, the foghorn can also be emitted from the external PA speaker.
The built-in DSC watch function monitors Ch. 70 (DSC channel) activity, even while you are receiving another channel. DSC functions include: distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling request and DSC test calls.
The built-in GPS receiver shows your current position, date/time and can be used for DSC calls. The GPS data source is selectable from internal and external GPS.
The optional white backlit CommandMic makes it convenient for using the IC-M423GE from a separate cabin or tower. All functions of the IC-M423GE can be controlled from the CommandMic and can be used as an intercom with the IC-M423GE.
When connected to the optional MA-510TR/MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder, the AIS target call function allows you to make an individual DSC call without having to manually input an MMSI number.
Simple remote control speaker-microphone, HM-205B (same as supplied) | NMEA 0183 connectivity | AquaQuake™ draining function | IPX7 waterproof protection (1m depth for 30 minutes) | Dual/tri-watch function for monitoring Ch.16 and/or call channel | Priority and normal scan | MMSI code can be entered by end user (one time), ATIS-ID programming has to be activated by the dealer first
On the basis of changed European regulations, no allocation of such numbers by the competent national authority takes place any more. Black Box Transceiver When Space is at a Premium.
The IC-M400BBE consists of a two-piece, black box configuration. All function control including DSC operation, can be made from the CommandMic™, HM-195B, and the RF unit, IC-M400BBE, can be installed in an out-of-sight place.
The new menu system is shared with Icom’s latest models. The bottom line of the dot-matrix display shows the software key functions which can be toggled with the left and right buttons.
The built-in bidirectional active noise cancelling reduces background noise to up to 90% and improves both your transmitted voice and incoming call. Hear and be heard more clearly.
The IC-M400BBE has a built-in 10 W amplifier that increases the audio output from an additional external speaker. The public address function allows you to make an announcement from the microphone like a loud speaker, and the foghorn can also be emitted from the external speaker.
The built-in DSC watch function monitors Ch. 70 (DSC channel) activity, even while you are receiving another channel. DSC functions include: distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling request and DSC test calls.
A GNSS antenna is supplied with the IC-M400BBE.
TWhen connected to an external GPS receiver, current position and time are shown on the CommandMic display. When receiving DSC information from another vessel, the radio can transfer it to a navigational device via NMEA 0183 connectivity.
When connected to the optional MA-510TR/MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder, the AIS target call function allows you to set up an individual DSC call from the MA-510TR/MA-500TR.
AquaQuake™ water draining function (HM-195B) | IPX7 waterproof protection both for IC-M400BBE and HM-195B (1 m depth for 30 minutes) | Dual/tri-watch function for monitoring Ch.16 and/or call channel | Priority and normal scan | MMSI code can be entered by end user (one time), ATIS-ID programming has to be activated by the dealer first

High-Performance Black Box VHF Radios When Helm Space is at a Premium
The IC-M410BB consists of a multi-piece, CommandMic™ and black box confi guration. All operations including DSC, can be made from the CommandMic™, HM-195, and the RF unit canbe installed in an out-of-sight place, up to 60 ft (18.3 m)* away from the CommandMic™.
* Two OPC-1541 optional cables are required for 60 ft installation.
Up to two CommandMic™ stations are available with the IC-M410BB providing access to the VHF radio and Intercom functions.
NMEA 2000™ network provides plug-and-play data communication to inter-connect with other marine equipment such as an MFD (Multi-Function Display). The radio can send GNSS (GPS)position, DSC call, and radio channel to other equipment.
The Active Noise Cancelling digitally removes background noise from both transmit and receive audio and provides clear communication in a noisy maritime environment.
With just a press of the “DISTRESS” button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit distress information to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for added safety and security.
A built-in 15 W* amplifier increases the audio output to an external hailer speaker. The 1-way RX hailer function enables you to keep watch of the radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker.
