With the cMT Cloud Human Machine Interface, Weintek introduces an innovative architecture that breaks the traditional operator panel paradigm. The Client/Server structure separates processing from visualisation, offering unprecedented flexibility: the terminal loses its display and touch screen but gains the ability to serve multiple users simultaneously from any device.
The project is developed with the free EasyBuilder PRO tool and transferred to the cMT server exactly as to a traditional panel — no change to the programming workflow, just more access and distribution options.
The cMT-SVR has the same hardware features as the IE series terminals but, via an Ethernet connection, delegates display and data entry to multi-platform Client devices. Unlike traditional remote access solutions, Weintek's patented technology provides a dedicated app (CloudHMI APP) that acts as genuine SCADA software on the client: the project resides both in the cMT-SVR and in the client device, and only data is exchanged — with greater smoothness and speed than traditional solutions.
A single client can connect via Wi-Fi to 253 cMT-SVR units at the same time, 3 of which can be managed in hot swap mode for real-time switching between different projects.
Up to 10 different users can access a single cMT-SVR simultaneously, each with their own security class defined in the project so that they can view and edit only authorised data.
The cMT-Viewer client is available for Windows PCs, Android and iOS. Alternatively, dedicated Weintek cMT-IV5 HMI Clients can be used for fixed installations.
Security classes configurable per user. Each operator accesses only the data and functions authorised by their profile.
Three cMT-SVR units can be managed in hot swap mode: instant switching between different machines or plants without disconnecting.
The CloudHMI APP allows access to the plant from any network, with the same user experience as the local panel. No additional client required.
With EasyAccess 2.0 you can remotely access the HMI and, in passthrough mode, the connected devices (PLCs or other equipment, via serial or Ethernet) without any network configuration. The system uses an SSL-protected VPN connection that guarantees secure data exchange with minimal bandwidth use.
No ports to open, no router configuration. The connection is established securely through the EasyAccess servers, without exposing the plant to the internet.
Direct access to the devices connected to the HMI (PLCs, inverters, etc.) via serial or Ethernet, as if you were on site. Ideal for remote maintenance.
Where no internet connection is available, remote assistance can operate via a cellular router or 3G/4G USB dongles directly supported by cMT devices with a USB Host port.
