GEM Carburanti is Daicon's system for controlling and managing fuel dispensing at private company facilities. Designed for companies with their own tanks and dispensers, it lets you track every refuelling precisely: who refuels, when, how many litres and on which vehicle.
Using a stainless steel operator panel, the vehicle and driver identification data and the kilometres travelled are entered before dispensing. The system checks authorisations in real time and, if the result is positive, sends the electrical enable signal to the dispenser to authorise refuelling. The litres dispensed are captured instantly and sent to the management software for accounting.
Data recorded for every refuelling
For every refuelling operation, the system automatically stores the following information in the Microsoft SQL Server database, guaranteeing complete traceability and immediate availability for analysis and reporting.
How the system works
GEM Carburanti guides the operator through a process structured in sequential steps, ensuring that every refuelling is authorised, tracked and accounted for before any fuel is dispensed.
1. Identification
The operator holds the badge or transponder up to the panel. The system reads the vehicle and driver codes.
2. Data entry
The kilometres travelled and other required operating data are entered on the stainless steel panel.
3. Authorisation check
The system checks authorisations and the consistency of the declared mileage in real time.
4. Electrical enable
If authorised, the system sends the electrical signal to the dispenser to enable dispensing.
5. Data capture
The litres dispensed are captured in real time and sent to the management software for immediate accounting.
Automatic vehicle recognition
In addition to manual data entry using a badge, GEM Carburanti supports automatic vehicle identification modes that speed up the process and increase security, eliminating entry errors and accelerating refuelling operations.
Automatic number plate reading (LPR)
A dedicated camera automatically reads the number plate of the vehicle entering the fuel area. Optical recognition (LPR – License Plate Recognition) matches the vehicle to its profile in the database, starting the authorisation process with no manual entry. It speeds up refuelling and eliminates typing errors.
UHF RFID tag on the vehicle
A UHF RFID tag fitted to the vehicle is read at a distance by the antenna in the refuelling area. As soon as the vehicle approaches the dispenser, the system recognises it automatically with no action required from the driver. Ideal for large company fleets and environments with frequent refuelling.
Operating diagram
The GEM Carburanti architecture consists of an operator panel connected over the network to the central server, which manages authorisations, captures data from the dispenser and sends it in real time to the company database for viewing and analysis.

The GEM Carburanti management software offers a complete control panel for administering authorised profiles, analysing consumption and generating detailed reports on every aspect of refuelling activity.
Authorised profile management
Creation and management of the profiles of drivers and vehicles authorised to refuel, with customisable limits per vehicle, litres or period.
Consumption analysis by vehicle
Detailed consumption statistics for each vehicle in the fleet, with automatic detection of anomalies and out-of-range consumption.
Mileage consistency check
Automatic check of the consistency of the declared mileage against the last refuelling, with blocking or an alert in case of anomalies.
Advanced reporting
Reports configurable by vehicle, driver, pump, period and fuel type. Export to Excel, CSV and PDF for company accounting.
Alarms and notifications
Automatic SMS or email notifications for consumption thresholds, critical tank levels or unauthorised refuelling attempts.
