Full-height turnstiles for rent to control access to the construction site for the entire duration of the works, without investing in your own equipment.
Site survey, installation, configuration, commissioning, support and collection at the end of the works: a turnkey service managed entirely by Daicon, with optional integration of the access control software.
Turnstile rental is an effective solution for managing access to building sites. Full-height turnstiles control the flow of personnel and allow only authorised people to pass, recording entries and exits when the system is connected to the access control software.
Daicon does not just deliver the equipment: it handles the site survey, installation, configuration and commissioning, trains the staff in charge, provides support during the works and collects the turnstiles at the end. On request, the rental includes a customised access control system tailored to the needs of the site.
Rental is one part of the broader complete solution for construction site access control, which also includes software, company documentation management and design of the entire system.
Rental is the ideal choice for building sites thanks to its financial and operational flexibility: no initial investment, no routine or extraordinary maintenance costs, maximum efficiency for the exact duration of the project.
Unlike simple equipment hire, Daicon follows the entire process: supply, installation, commissioning and, on request, integration with a customised access control system, with technical support from the first site survey to collection of the turnstiles at the end of the works. The rental fee is an operating cost linked to the duration of the works: for tax treatment, please refer to your adviser.
Daicon turnstile rental combines financial flexibility, access security and site organisation in a single solution, designed to adapt to the exact duration of each project.
Daicon's turnstile rental service is structured in six stages to guarantee maximum operational simplicity for the customer, from the first request to collection of the equipment at the end of the works.
Contact Daicon stating the rental period, number of passages and any need for software integration.
Our technicians assess the site and define the optimal configuration of the access gates.
Installation of the turnstiles by Daicon technicians. If required, configuration of the access control software: personal records, credentials, areas and time slots.
Complete commissioning of the system with functional checks of all devices and training of the staff in charge.
For the entire rental period Daicon remains the technical point of reference for turnstiles, readers and software.
At the end of the works Daicon collects and dismantles the turnstiles, at no extra cost to the customer.
The rental range includes single and double full-height turnstiles, as well as swing gates for special needs, all with a robust structure suited to construction site conditions. For permanent installations, the other types of turnstile, such as tripod turnstiles, are also available.
Ideal for single pedestrian entrances. Robust stainless steel structure, suited to construction site conditions. Controlled personnel passage with access recording.
A solution for high-traffic sites with a double two-way passage. It maximises staff flow at peak times while maintaining complete access control.
A swing gate also allowing the passage of trolleys, equipment and people with reduced mobility (PRM). Wide, controlled opening for flexible site management.
Daicon offers turnstiles both for rent and for sale. The choice depends mainly on how long the gates will remain in use and how you want to manage the investment.
the site has a defined duration and the gates will not be needed after the end of the works;
you do not want to tie up capital in hardware intended for a single site;
you prefer a single service that includes installation, support and collection.
the site remains operational in the long term, such as a plant or logistics area;
the gates become a permanent part of the access control installation;
you plan to reuse the same system in several phases or sites.

In both cases Daicon handles the site survey, installation, commissioning and support, and the turnstiles can be connected to the Gate Plus software. For the design of the entire system, see the page on access control for construction sites and major works.
Rental turnstiles can be integrated with Daicon's Gate Plus access control software, adding monitoring, reporting and authorisation management functions. A complete system that goes beyond a simple physical barrier.
If several companies work on the site, rental turnstiles can work together with the Supplier Portal for checking companies' documentation: thanks to integration with Gate Plus, the documentation compliance status can be used to disable access for unauthorised people.
Anyone choosing an access system for a construction site needs to take into account an evolving Italian regulatory framework. In short, three levels must currently be distinguished.
Already mandatory: in contracted and subcontracted work, workers must carry an identification card with photograph, personal details and employer (Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008, arts. 18 and 26), which on construction sites also shows the date of hiring and any subcontracting authorisation (Law 136/2010, art. 5).
Introduced, awaiting implementation: Decree-Law 159/2025, converted by Law 198/2025, provides for public and private building sites a card with a unique anti-counterfeiting code, also available in digital format. As of September 2026 the ministerial decree defining its methods does not appear to have been published: the obligation of the current identification card therefore remains applicable (INL circular no. 1/2026).
Specific rules: on post-2016 earthquake reconstruction sites (Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche, Umbria) the site badge has been mandatory since 13 May 2026 for works worth β¬500,000 or more, under Decree of the Extraordinary Commissioner no. 332/2026.
With rental, the site has controlled gates and, with Gate Plus, transit recording, without tying a hardware investment to a single site while the technical specifications of the national badge are still awaited. The identification system is configured on the credentials adopted on the site. The turnstile does not replace the identification card: it is the tool that helps check who enters.
The full picture and the consequences for access organisation are explained on the page about access control for construction sites and major works.

Daicon's turnstile rental solution is suitable for any context where access needs to be controlled temporarily but professionally, from large infrastructure sites to small corporate events.
On building sites, the main context, the system manages access for workers, contractors, suppliers and inspectors, recording entries and exits and, if required, linking to the companies' documentation checks. In industrial plants it is used during extraordinary maintenance or refurbishment works, to separate operational areas from site personnel with real-time monitoring of attendance in risk zones. At trade fairs and events it allows fast management of large flows at corporate events, conferences and shows, with named badges or digital tickets for access to restricted areas: find out more about access control for events and trade fairs.
