A complete range for professional radio communication at sea: handheld and fixed VHF, AIS transponders, marine radar and SOLAS/MED-certified GMDSS systems. Advice, installation and rental for private users and commercial operators.
Icom Marine — Handheld
From the bridge to the deck: the Icom handheld range covers every need of leisure and professional sailors. The IC-M25EURO EVO with Float’n’Flash, USB-C and AquaQuake, the IC-M73EURO with 6W RF, IPX8 and ANC Plus for environments with heavy background noise, and the IC-M37E and IC-M85E for more specific uses.
If it falls into the water, the transceiver floats and automatically activates the flashing LED to make recovery easier. An exclusive Icom function for maximum safety at sea.
IPX7 protection on the IC-M25EURO EVO (1m/30min) and IPX8 on the IC-M73EURO (1.5m/30min). Resistant to rain, spray and accidental immersion in all marine conditions.
The IC-M73EURO integrates Active Noise Cancelling Plus technology to filter out engine and wind background noise, guaranteeing clear communications even in demanding navigation.
700mW speaker with a waterproof paper cone for superior audio quality. AquaQuake expels water from the speaker with ultrasonic vibrations after immersion.
Eco Mode automatically reduces TX power for close-range communication, extending battery life up to 14h on the IC-M25EURO EVO and 16h on the IC-M73EURO with the standard battery.
USB-C port for fast, universal charging on the IC-M25EURO EVO. Compatible with power banks and standard chargers. No more proprietary cables: charge anywhere, even while under way.
Icom Marine — Mobile
From the bridge to the electrical panel: fixed VHF stations with built-in DSC, GPS and CommandMic for up to 4 remote stations. IC-M510E EVO and IC-M605EURO for standard installations; IC-M410BB and IC-M510BB blackbox for NMEA 2000 multi-station installations in the cabin, on deck and in the engine room.
25W output power to guarantee maximum coverage in ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communications. Power selector from 1W to 25W according to the communication distance.
A dedicated DSC receiver continuously monitors CH70. DISTRESS key with automatic sending of GPS position, nature of distress and MMSI. Individual, group and all-ships call management.
Built-in GPS/GNSS receiver for automatic position sending in DSC distress calls. MOB (Man Overboard) function with position marking and immediate rescue timer.
NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity for integration with on-board plotters, GPS and chartplotters. The IC-M510BB and IC-M410BB blackbox models support professional multi-station installation.
The HM-195 CommandMic lets you control all the radio's functions from a remote position. Support for up to 4 simultaneous CommandMics to cover the bridge, deck, engine room and cockpit.
The IC-M410BB and IC-M510BB models separate the radio unit from the user interface, allowing concealed installation in any compartment with a remote microphone and remote control panel.
Icom Marine — AIS & Radar
Two products for navigational safety: the MA-510TR Class B AIS transponder with a 4.3” colour TFT display, Silent Mode and DSC calls via AIS targets; and the MR-1010RII marine radar with 36 NM range, 4kW scanner, simplified ARPA and AIS overlay for 100 simultaneous targets. Made in Japan.
Wide-viewing-angle colour screen with a list of AIS targets classified as Danger or Friend. Graphical display of navigation with course arrow and own heading line.
Silent Mode disables AIS transmission while keeping reception, ideal in port or fishing areas. Anchor Watch sends a GPS alarm if the vessel moves beyond a programmable threshold.
By selecting an AIS target in the list, you can start an individual DSC call directly to that vessel without having to enter the MMSI number manually.
Maximum range of 36 nautical miles with a 4kW radome scanner. Simplified user interface with one-finger control to adjust gain, rain, sea clutter and brightness directly from the screen.
Automatic acquisition of radar targets with CPA (Closest Point of Approach) and TCPA calculation for collision avoidance alerts. Visual and audible alarm when the set safety thresholds are reached.
Overlay of 100 AIS targets on the radar display with DSC information for each target. The TLL function transfers coordinates to the plotter. Designed and built in Japan for maximum reliability.
Icom Marine — GMDSS
The Icom GMDSS range covers all SOLAS requirements from the bridge to survival craft: the GM600 VHF with Class A DSC to ITU-R M.493-13; the GM800 150 W MF/HF with IEC 62923-compliant Bridge Alert Management; the IC-GM1600E MED-certified handheld with a lithium battery operating down to −20°C.
VHF transceiver with Class A DSC to ITU-R M.493-13, IPX7 front panel and 4.3” wide-angle TFT display. DSC Task Mode handles up to 7 simultaneous procedures. MED certified for SOLAS compliance.
150W PEP MF/HF transceiver with Class A DSC to ITU-R M.493-15, built-in 24V DC-DC converter and an interface unified with the GM600. It meets SOLAS requirements for vessels on international voyages.
Handheld VHF for lifeboats and life rafts. Certified to MED 2014/90/EU (Wheel Mark) and IMO MSC.149(77). 3300mAh BP-234 lithium battery with over 8h of operation at −20°C.
The GM800 complies with IEC 62923-1 and IEC 62923-2. It integrates with the bridge CAM system via the IEC 61162-1 interface for centralised signalling of every alert condition on board.
All three models (GM600, GM800, IC-GM1600E) are MED “Wheel Mark” certified to meet the requirements of the European directives for merchant vessels subject to SOLAS on international voyages.
The GM600 and GM800 share the same operating logic: identical directional keypad, softkeys and 4.3” display. This consistency reduces operating errors and makes crew training easier.
