Automatic event access systems using turnstiles with QR Code and barcode reading.
From the moment of online purchase to the opening of the turnstile, the process is fully automated, with no human intervention and no room for error.
The visitor buys their admission ticket on the event website or through one of the official ticketing networks (TicketOne, Vivaticket, Ticketmaster, etc.). Payment is completely secure.
Once the purchase is complete, the system generates a unique code — QR Code or 1D/2D barcode — and sends it to the visitor by email or through the ticketing network's app. The ticket is ready: on a smartphone or printed on paper.
No queues at the box office, no physical collection. The visitor goes straight to the access turnstiles with their digital ticket already displayed on their smartphone screen or in hand.
The reader integrated into the turnstile — compatible with QR Code, 1D and 2D barcodes — captures the code in less than a second. It works perfectly even from low-brightness screens or with codes printed on paper.
In milliseconds the software queries the centralised database: it checks that the ticket exists, that it is valid for the current date and time slot and that it has not already been used. The response arrives in real time, even with thousands of simultaneous entries.
If the check is successful, the turnstile unlocks immediately and the visitor can pass through the gate. The entry is recorded in the system with a precise timestamp. The ticket is marked as "used" and cannot be reused.
If the ticket has already been used, has expired, is for another date or is counterfeit, the turnstile does not open. The reader reports the anomaly with visual and audible feedback. Security staff can step in promptly.
The Daicon system is designed to communicate natively with the most widely used ticketing platforms in Italy and abroad, without requiring custom development.
Can't find your network? The Daicon system supports any platform able to generate standard QR Codes or barcodes. Contact us to check compatibility with your ticketing system.
The turnstile reads and checks the ticket in less than a second. Flows of up to 30 people per minute per turnstile, with no bottlenecks at the entrance.
No lines at the box office, no manual checks. Visitors go straight to the turnstile and enter on their own, cutting waiting times by up to 80%.
Monitor how many people have entered, in which time slot and through which gate. Data available in real time on a centralised dashboard, including remotely.
Every ticket is unique and checked against the database at the time of entry. A code that has already been used cannot be reused. No more duplicate or counterfeit tickets.
Automatic, accurate attendance counts for every event. Historical data for planning future editions and for post-event reporting to organisers.
The system distributes entries intelligently across the available gates. When crowding occurs, it flags critical points in real time to optimise staff deployment.
Export detailed reports: entries by hour, by gate, by ticket category. Data ready for Excel, PDF or integration with the organiser's CRM/management system.
A documented REST API for integration with CRM, ERP systems, marketing platforms and any of the organiser's management software. No isolated data.
The turnstile access system with ticket reading adapts to any type of event, from small shows to large venues with thousands of simultaneous entries.
The technical infrastructure is robust, scalable and designed to guarantee optimal performance even during the busiest access peaks.
Instant reading of standard and high-density QR Codes from smartphone screens, plain paper prints, laminated cards or worn media.
Compatible with all standard barcode formats: EAN-13, Code 128, Code 39, PDF417, DataMatrix, Aztec. No ticket is excluded because of an incompatible format.
The system reads tickets shown on smartphones (app, email, wallet) and tickets printed on plain or thermal paper alike. Maximum flexibility for the visitor.
Online mode for real-time checks against the central database. Offline mode with a preloaded ticket list for environments without stable connectivity. Automatic synchronisation when the network is restored.
A documented REST API interface for integration with any ticketing system, CRM or management platform. Webhook support for real-time access notifications.
A single, centralised archive of all tickets issued. Every entry is recorded with date, time, gate and ticket ID. Zero duplication, zero discrepancies.
All the event's turnstiles are synchronised in real time: a ticket validated at one gate is immediately marked as used at all the others, eliminating attempts at simultaneous double entry.
The system supports any number of turnstiles and gates without limits. From 2 entrances for a conference room to dozens of gates for a stadium: the architecture adapts without degrading performance.
Eliminate queues, increase security and get accurate data on every entry. Our team of experts is at your disposal to design the access control system best suited to your event.
