The MA-510TR is the Class B AIS transponder with a 4.3" colour TFT display that increases safety at sea by receiving Class A and B signals. The MR-1010RII is the marine radar with simplified ARPA, AIS overlay and Made in Japan quality. Daicon is an authorised Icom partner for Milan and Genoa.
Icom MA-510TR
The MA-510TR is Icom's Class B AIS transponder with a wide-viewing-angle 4.3" colour TFT display. It receives Class A and B AIS signals, shows nearby vessels in real time, warns of collision risk and guides you to waypoints or to an MOB signal. NMEA 2000™ and NMEA 0183 connectivity for full integration with compatible Icom plotters and VHF radios.
Wide-viewing-angle display with 16-level gradient. Dangerous vessels appear in red and those set as "friends" in yellow. Day and night modes for all light conditions.
The Target list shows all detected AIS vessels. The Danger list flags those within 6 nm CPA and 60 minutes TCPA. You can set contacts as Friend to display them separately.
Up to 100 waypoints can be stored (fishing spots, destinations). The MOB function automatically marks the position of the person overboard and activates navigation to that point with a single key.
By selecting an AIS target on the display, you can make an individual DSC call directly to that vessel — without entering the MMSI manually. Requires a compatible Icom VHF radio to be connected.
Plug-and-play NMEA 2000™ connectivity with plotters, radars and VHF radios. Via NMEA 0183-HS it can receive GPS position from an external source, share AIS data and connect to navigation devices.
Silent mode switches off the AIS transmitter to keep your position private (it still receives). The Anchor Watch function sounds an alarm if the vessel drifts away from the set anchoring position.
Icom MR-1010RII
The MR-1010RII is Icom's marine radar with a 4 kW radome scanner and a range of up to 36 nm. It integrates simplified ARPA for automatic target tracking, AIS overlay for up to 100 targets and a wide-viewing-angle colour TFT display. Designed, developed and built in Japan for maximum reliability in the marine environment.
The 4 kW radome scanner provides observation up to 36 nautical miles. The scanner unit is supplied with a 15 m system cable.
Automatically tracks up to 5 targets (10 in manual mode) with calculation of CPA, TCPA, course, speed and distance. An audible alarm sounds when a target enters the set limits.
When connected to a DSC radio, received DSC calls are overlaid on the radar echo. The MOB waypoint transmitted by a handheld VHF (e.g. IC-M94D) appears directly on the display for SAR operations.
Connected to an external AIS device (including IC-M605, IC-M510 AIS, IC-M506 AIS), it overlays up to 100 AIS icons on the radar echo with information on course, speed, CPA, TCPA and vessel name.
Wide-viewing-angle display with 16-level graduated echo intensity. The BRILL key instantly adjusts brightness and colour (day, night and custom modes). Auto-hide function for full-page echo.
Designed and built in Japan for maximum reliability. The TLL function transfers point coordinates to NMEA 0183 plotters. True Trail cancels out your own vessel's movement, showing only moving targets.
