How the system works
Hybrid thermal cameras simultaneously provide a normal image and a thermal image of the scene. An artificial intelligence algorithm recognises human figures and measures the temperature of the face at the optimal distance of 3 metres, excluding any other heat source that could cause a false alarm.
- 🌡 Instant detectionThrough the web interface of the hybrid thermal camera you can view the detected temperature in real time and act accordingly, starting two-way communication through the microphone and speaker built into the camera.
- 🚨 Automatic alarmWhen the temperature threshold is exceeded, the camera's flashing white LED can be activated and/or an audio message played from the built-in speaker, automatically separating the subject from the crowd.
- 🔒 Gate blockingThe system can be connected to a gate equipped with a barrier or turnstile: if an alarm is triggered, the gate can be automatically prevented from opening, denying the subject access.

Gate control and DR16P terminal
Using the DR16P terminal you can control various devices — lights, traffic lights, buzzers, turnstiles, swing gates — and, for example, activate additional cameras that frame the entire area when an alarm occurs. The integration guarantees complete control of the inbound flow of people.
🔌 DR16P terminal
An I/O automation module that controls as outputs: signal lights, traffic lights, buzzers, electric locks, barriers and turnstiles when the thermal threshold is exceeded.
👥 Turnstiles and barriers
The gate remains locked until the alarm is resolved. Integration with Gate Plus allows centralised management of all access points with complete event logs.
